Previous experience with a D8, D9 and D11 is desired but not required.

Must have prior experience with Caterpillar, Komastu, and/or Caterpillar.

The ability to service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.

Complete minor repairs in the field.

Working knowledge in OSHA and/or MSHA regulations.

Dependability and communication effectively.

Knowledge of experience in a construction setting.

3-5 years of experience with equipment listed.

Safe and efficient operation of equipment to meet targets or production.

Complete required paperwork, reporting, and any other documentation as required.

May Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays and weekends.

Pre-employment screening and Background screening will be required as part of the employment process.

This position will require shift work.

Must be willing to work Overtime hours.

Previous experience in Construction or Mining is preferred, but not required for this position.

Operate specialized heavy equipment.
Maintain heavy equipment by performing pre-shift inspections, cleaning, adding lubricants and fuel, and documenting all activity performed on said piece of equipment.
Perform light duty mechanical repairs (hoses, fittings, wiring, fuses, etc.).
Perform construction tasks.
Work in remote locations.
Participate in team safety meeting.
Reporting equipment or tool damage or deficiencies immediately to Supervisor.
Comply with all company safety policies including site-specific safety and operating rules.
Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
